May 2009 CAMPOUT

The spring PWA Campout will be held May 8-10 at the Texas Conference of Clubs landsite. Applications should be up soon, and this year you will be able to register online.

After Campout

We had a great time this last campout. 133 guys came out and enjoyed themselves. Our September campout also falls on an "activity weekend", which is a monthly work weekend at TCC. The PWA campers were a huge help in cutting down dead trees, getting them cut up and taken to the wood piles. Lots of thanks go out to these guys! Next campout is tenatively set for May 2009, keep an eye out for updates.

Down To The Wire

It's getting close to campout time! If you don't have your apps in by now, please get them sent right away. If you even think you are going to attend and havent sent your app yet, please email Robert at : robert@lvlpwa.com
and let him know that you plan to attend. We have to buy supplies ahead of time so we need an accurate count. We have over 100 registered now and we always get a late minute rush, so it will be a festive campout! See you guys there.

1 Month To Go

The PWA Campout is one month away and counting. Please fill those applications out and get them in soon. The weather looks like the heat wave may have broken, so hopefully it wont be too hot out there! The pool is always inviting if it is a little hot. Looks like applications are coming in fairly steady, so it will be a great group of guys. Hope to see you out there.

Fall 2008 Campout

Seems like the last one just ended and now it's time for the next one! The party never ends. The Fall campout is September 19-21 at Buzzard's Peak...the TCC site. Post Campout

We had a great time at the campout! 127 guys came out and had fun in the woods. We even managed to get a little work done. Check out the pics on the new PWA website http://www.lvlpwa.com . The applications for the September campout are out now and available on the site.

This is it! The campout is next weekend. There are around 150 guys registerred for the event. The weather looks like it's going to be great. See you there!

CAMPOUT NEWS

We are only 11 days out from the campout, so if you haven't gotten the apps in, please contact John @ tex4ever@hotmail.com to let him know you are coming. We have well over 100 men coming so it will be a great time. I understand gas prices are certainly an issue, which is a great reason to grab a buddy and carpool!

Applications are up for the May campout. Print them out and get them in as fast as you can. Its important to get a good count of how many campers to expect in order to buy supplies.

The votes have been counted during the TCC quarterly meeting and the dates for the campout have held. The applications should be online in the next week or two, and when they are I'll post a link to them.

PWA Campout 2008

The spring PWA Campout is tentatively scheduled for May 9-11 2008. Mark your calendars for the first great event of 2008. Spring fever will have set in and the boys will be ready to have a good time. We are voting on the date in a couple of weeks so keep an eye on the site and I'll confirm the dates for you.

The Fall PWA Campout was a big succcess. 120 guys came and had a great time, the weather was beautiful and the men were fun. Hope to see you guys again next spring. I'll post info as it becomes available.

Campout time!

The Fall PWA Campout starts Friday at noon. We have around 150 guys registered, so it will be a fun time. The weather report looks nice and sunny. More reason to get rid of those clothes. Like last campout, I will try to do some live blogging from the campout. Hope to see you guys out there!

Sun, Fun and Men

Friday was a busy day at the campground getting all the campers checked in, the newbies shown around. The weather has been absolutely beautiful: the sun has been shining and mild temperatures. The guys got their tents set up, had a few cocktails and got to meet some new friends. Last night my lover and I threw a big cocktail party on the hill by our cabin which was decorated like a disco on acid. The party lasted a couple of hours until the men stumbled down the hill to find a midnight snack to play with.
Today has been wonderful also. The guys are lounging around, some are playing the games we have scheduled, the sun is shining; it's a great day to be in the woods!

2 Days until the campout

It's Wednesday evening, and I'm at the campground. The weather is nice and sunny. Looks like the forcast for the weekend has some showers in it, but they will be hit and miss, hopefully mostly miss. It's still going to be a great weekend with lots of men. I'll see ya'll Friday!
